Overview
DĪWĀN — Poetry of Praise is designed as a reading app. It does not require an account, show advertising, sell personal information or track users across apps and websites.
Information stored on your device
The app stores favourites, display choices and the last reading location on your device so the reading experience can be remembered. This information is not uploaded as a user profile and can be removed by deleting the app.
Catalogue updates
The app may contact the DĪWĀN content service to check for published catalogue updates. As with a normal web request, the hosting provider may process limited technical information such as an IP address, request time and device or network details for security and reliable delivery. DĪWĀN does not use this information for advertising or cross-app tracking.
Shared collections
Sharing a personal collection is optional. When you choose Share Collection, the service stores a randomly generated collection code, the name you gave the collection and the identifiers and order of the existing DĪWĀN pieces in it. It does not upload new poetry, your favourites, your reading history, your contacts or an account identifier. Anyone you give the link or code to can import that arrangement, so share it only with people you intend to receive it. This information is used only to provide the collection-sharing feature and is not used for advertising or tracking.
Information you send
If you contact support by email, we receive the information you choose to include. It is used only to respond, investigate the reported issue or process a requested content correction.
Children
The app does not knowingly collect personal information from children. It contains devotional reading material and has no account creation, public profiles, direct messaging, advertising or in-app purchases.
